Remnant Vessel No. 3 "Sunstone"

T.A.P Solutions Remnant Series produces functional art that includes rescued 3D-print remnants. These remnants would otherwise be discarded, but are instead transformed in-studio into unique and beautiful circular material, in a collectible art form. 

Each vessel is crafted from rescued PLA, Silk PLA, and Transparent PLA remnants. The silk PLA creates the depth of color and the metallic shimmer you see shifting across the surface. The transparent PLA layers create the luminous, stained-glass quality that catches the light differently at every angle. The PLA solids anchor the composition with structure and weight.  Stitching is added to give the appearance that the pieces are pulled together.

The number of vessels available depends on the current studio production and available PLA remnants for upcycling. All materials are studio-sourced from active T.A.P.S production runs. 

These artisan pieces hold the eyes with interest, as the beauty and contrasts between crisp solids, soft silks, and transparent colors dance and weave through this purposeful piece of art. 

Every 3D print leaves something behind. The byproduct of a productive studio is also a record of its work. Often, that material is considered waste, but the Remnant Series asks a different question: What happens when you treat those leftovers as raw material, not refuse? What results is a functional sculpture: a vessel that holds your precious items or is placed as art to add color and an original art flare in your space. • Personalization available with initials, name (yours, a beloved pet, a loved one, or even a power word that just inspires you. The personalization will be engraved into the print and blended in with the artistic flow of the vessel. 
• Care Instructions: Keep away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Excessive heat may cause warping, PLA is estimated to withstand up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.
